This was our longest tour that we took on our first trip to Paris. The driver/guide arrived on time. He was very informative. I noticed he became more personable as the day went on. He answered all our questions and showed us a few things that we asked about that weren''t on the tour - very nice. Another interesting thing about this tour was the oppportunity to be with people from around the world for the day. Since the maximum number of people is 8, it really gives one a chance to really interact. We had people from Texas, Idaho, India, Russia, Missouri! Wow! The lunch at the Eiffel Tower was wonderful. No waiting. This was an informative and enjoyable day. We were greatful to be dropped off at our hotel door after an all day tour like this. |

Thank you Paris City Tours for an unforgettable day. We had two days in Paris and wanted to see it all. Fortunately, we chose this group. Yes, they are expensive, and yes, you could do it all yourself, BUT what tourist with two days in Paris has the know-how to get all around the city, lunch at the Eiffel Tower AND see Versailles?
Our City tour was superb. We saw all the sights we wanted to see although we did not go into any - time. Fred, the guide gave ample time at EVERY stop for photos and even asked when we failed to ask for a stop. His commentary was excellent. Lunch was easy and delicious at the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower plus we by-passed the horribly long lines! Right on time, the afternoon guide, Julian, picked us up for Versailles. Check what the previous reviewer said about him. We 2nd it all. He was fabulous. As he made rounds dropping us off at our various hotels, he even took the time to tell us what to see the next day.
And finally, I left my jacket on the morning bus. In these days of what everybody believes to be the worst of shoddy service, Paris Trip Tours proves them wrong! Not only did Julian keep me updated throughout the afternoon on efforts to locate my jacket - remember I was not his only passenger of the afternoon although he made me feel like I was - but he also dropped it off at my hotel after he had dropped us off.
Quite a marvelous group. I recommend them highly! |

I was very impressed by how organized the tour and company was. It was an excellent way to see the highlights of Paris and avoid lines. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. |

Great overview of Paris in a short time; lunch @ Eiffel Tower wonderful and only exceeded by visit to Versailles. |

We had a wonderful day. Loved the tour and glad we got to see Versailles. Laurent was a wonderful guide, and he got us into impossible places. It''s much easier to see everything this way than any other, I believe. Without this opportunity, I do believe we would have missed a bunch of the highlights of Paris. Highly recommended! |

We thoroughly enjoyed our Paris Tour and lunch at the Eiffel Tower. This was followed by a trip to Versailles in a mini van. Would have liked a bit more time at Versailles. |

this tour was not value for money'''' at any level.
First we started late , as it would seem the last
pick-up was late , and in the end did not go.
It would seem we drove an unnecessary long time
before our tour began..Our first stop at Norte-Dame
just 30 minutes, not near long enough,
second stop Eiffel Tower'' we had just 1 hour and 45 minutes
which in truth was silly, talking into account waiting to get in,
waiting for a poor meal..then off to Versailles, which takes
30 minutes , leaving us only 2 hours and 30 minutes
at this place, which of course is nonsense,
as we had to wait 20 minutes to get in.........
Also we had to pay an extra 7 euros each to get into the Gardens
The whole thing was a very bad deal in both time and money.
I would not recommend this tour to anybody he whole thing
is a some-what of a sham...........yours
never to use your company again.......

Versailles - Tour Preview
"The Palace of Versailles"
The chateau and the Gardens of Versailles which count among
the most prestigious monuments of the world's artistic heritage
and are certainly the finest and most complete achievement of 17th
century French art. King Louis XIII's former hunting lodge was transformed
and enlarged by his son Louis XIV, who installed his court and government

"The
Gardens & The Park"
Laid out between 1661 and 1700 by Le Notre, who levelled and
drained the land and designed perspectives, groves, the canal and
parterres, Versailles is the model of formal gardens " a la francaise
". It is adorned with marble, bronze and lead statues, and with
fountains. The antique myth of Apollo, the sun-god, is ever present.
Beyond the formal gardens arranged in the Petit parc (185 acres),
the extensive Grand Parc provides opportunities for pleasant strolls
or long walks.
