Loved everything about the trip out to Versailles and the guided tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. Sorry, I don''t remember her name, but she mentioned in passing she was 39 or 40 (but didn''t look it!). Felt as tho'' she took extra special care of us and we got to enjoy the whole tour of Versailles. Love the comments going & coming back, the commentary was personal and refreshing and funny. Thank you so much for your kindnesses and care. So glad we chose your company! |

Your company was recommended to us by friends in Houston, Texas, USA. They took six tours with you and said each one was expertly managed by delightful and knowledgeable guides. We took two tours with you and felt the same way. We will be recommending you as well. Thank you! |

We had a wonderful driver and guide who did a great job despite the bad cold rainy weather. It was a crowded venue because of a holiday, but she managed to get us inside in a reasonable time. | Management response :
Bonjour Mary Ellen,
Your guide Michelle surely is a good guide and I am glad you had a great experience of Versailles. The guided tour is actually the good option when it comes to avoid spending too much time in the line as it allows you to get inside in a reasonable time.
We look forward to welcoming you again when you come back to Paris. Best Regards, Paul |

A lovely trip to Versailles. But we did not have enough time to visit the gardens because the staff at Versailles delayed the entry of our group, even though we were all assembled at the appointed time - not the fault of Paris-Trip. However, the guided tour was very interesting and informative. |

Fred - our guide - was very informative. Enjoyed his talk and appreciated the easy ride to Versailles. |

Nice tour. Ofcourse too many people inside the Versailles, but we enjoyed.
Very good guide and driver. |
Feedback on 5/13/2011 from Marjorie
Good tour. Guide was a little random in her explanations of what we were seeing, but we appreciated her assertiveness and aggressiveness when fighting the crowds at Versailles. |

My husband and I were very happy with the tours we signed up for. My only critique is that I did not appreciate Lionel, tour guide, interjecting his political opinions regarding Sarkozy as much as he did. Otherwise; all went well and would recommend to friends. |

Excellent tour |
Feedback on 7/20/2011 from Les and Lyn
Our trip to Versailles was a mixture of good and disappointing - because of the crowds(which would be quite common) our trip was too rushed. We did not have time to see the gardens. The guide was excellent, he knew the history quite well and was interesting to listen to. I would recommend that another one and half hours are required. The driver of the vehicle was also knowledgeable of how to get through the traffic and where to park. Regards Lyn and Les Tod |

I took this tour as part of a package with Monet''s Garden. Didn''t really want to go inside the Palace as some of us had already been there. Wanted to go to Marie Antoinett''s Palace at the back of the Estate but not enough time.
Too many people and so stuffy in the palace. Good to see but would never go back - only if I could do Marie Antoinette''s Palace. |
Feedback on 5/19/2011 from Peter
Disappointing, we had to endure a 1 hour drive through Paris for a further 2 Pick-ups, then another 20 mins to Versailles. The tour of Versailles was manic, too many people made it difficult to maintain pace with the tour guide (no fault of the guide). This is the second time (the first was many years ago) that I have been to Versaille and my observation was that the interior requires some intense cleaning/maintenance |

"The Palace of Versailles"
The chateau and the Gardens of Versailles which count among
the most prestigious monuments of the world's artistic heritage
and are certainly the finest and most complete achievement of 17th
century French art. King Louis XIII's former hunting lodge was transformed

"The
Gardens & The Park"
Laid out between 1661 and 1700 by Le Notre, who levelled and
drained the land and designed perspectives, groves, the canal and
parterres, Versailles is the model of formal gardens " a la francaise
". It is adorned with marble, bronze and lead statues, and with
fountains. The antique myth of Apollo, the sun-god, is ever present.
Beyond the formal gardens arranged in the Petit parc (185 acres),
the extensive Grand Parc provides opportunities for pleasant strolls
or long walks.
